ReplyDeleteA good question, A.M.--I too have struggled with my weight. I find the thing that gets me moving in string. You need someone to wiggle it for you; but a workout companion is a good idea anyway.
ReplyDeleteI do also believe, however, that it is important that we accept ourselves, and not hold ourselves to impossible standards. Personally, when I see those svelt felines in TV ads, I feel the compulsion to abstain from crunchies for ever; but that isn't who I am. Exercise and diet are imprortant for good health; but emracing our true natures (and the crunchie bowl) are equally important.
